UT-ML Zirconia Discs for Natural Anterior Aesthetics

The UT-ML (Ultra Translucent Multilayer) dental zirconia block is the highest translucency zirconia within the Ownsmile portfolio, specifically engineered for anterior esthetic cases. Achieving up to 60% high transparency and 800 MPa flexural strength. It offers a precise balance of optical clarity and mechanical stability for aesthetic restoration. This material allows laboratories to achieve lifelike results efficiently without complex layering.

Natural Esthetics with 60% Ultra-High Translucency

The UT zirconia utilizes a chemical composition with an elevated Y₂O₃ (Yttria) content of 8.0%–10.0%. This specific formulation increases the cubic phase fraction within the zirconia matrix, which significantly enhances light transmission while maintaining a stable structure.

Key features:

  • Translucency: 57%–60% (Replicates natural enamel optical properties)

  • Sintered Density: 6.06 ± 0.02 g/cm³

  • Recommended Sintering Temperature: 1500 °C

By prioritizing translucency, this material eliminates the opaque or "dead white" appearance often associated with high-strength zirconia, making it the preferred choice for the esthetic zone.

Seamless 9-Layer Multilayer Structure & Gradient

UT-ML zirconia block feature a sophisticated 9-layer color gradient design. This structure ensures a smooth, imperceptible transition from the chroma-rich cervical area to the highly translucent incisal area, closely mimicking the natural tooth structure.

Available Shades:

VITA Classical: A1–A4, B1–B4, C1–C4, D2–D4

Bleach Shades: BL1, BL2, BL3, BL4

This gradient technology reduces the need for extensive manual staining, allowing technicians to achieve high-quality esthetic outcomes directly after sintering and glazing.

Universal Compatibility with CAD/CAM Milling Systems

UT-ML discs are manufactured to ensure seamless integration with standard open and proprietary dental milling workflows. The material is available in a comprehensive range of thicknesses to accommodate various restoration heights and clinical requirements.

  • System Compatibility:

    • Open System: 98 mm

    • Zirkonzahn System: 95 mm

    • Amann Girrbach System: 92 × 75 mm

  • Thickness Options: 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 25, and 30 mm

Clinical Indications: Veneers & Anterior Restorations

Due to its ultra-high esthetics and functional strength, the UT-ML is indicated for restorations where appearance is the primary requirement.

Contact Us
Does this product comply with international medical regulations?

Yes. We strictly adhere to global manufacturing standards. This product is fully compliant with European CE and ISO 13485, supporting your smooth distribution.

Do you require a large volume for the first order?

Not at all. We are flexible with new partners. You can start with a 1 piece to evaluate the quality, and we are confident you will return for more.

Is it suitable for bridges?

We recommend limiting UT to single units or 3-unit anterior bridges only. For posterior bridges or long-span restorations requiring higher load-bearing capacity, please choose our ST or HT series.

What are the main indications for UT blocks?

It is the specialist for anterior aesthetics. We highly recommend it for veneers, inlays, onlays, and single anterior crowns where light transmission and natural vitality are the top priorities.

How does UT Zirconia compare to Lithium Disilicate

UT offers comparable aesthetics to glass ceramics with superior durability. While maintaining high translucency (60%+), it provides higher flexural strength (600-800MPa vs. ~400MPa for glass), reducing the risk of fracture during processing and daily use.
