OS-502D is a 5-axis dental dry milling machine for labs working with zirconia, PMMA, wax, and PEEK. It supports routine crown, bridge, temporary restoration, and selected framework production in daily CAD/CAM workflows.
Compatible with zirconia blocks, PMMA discs, dental wax blanks, PEEK discs, and other approved dry-milling materials. This dry milling workflow is suitable for dental labs producing crowns, bridges, temporary restorations, wax patterns, and selected framework applications with a cleaner and more efficient production setup.
For glass ceramics, lithium disilicate, titanium discs, or premill abutments, a wet or wet-dry milling machine such as OS-502W is the more suitable option.
OS-502D supports open CAD/CAM workflows and can work with compatible dental CAM software such as MillBox, hyperDENT, or other approved CAM systems, depending on the lab’s setup and post-processor configuration.
Labs can import STL files from CAD software, prepare nesting and milling strategies in CAM software, and run dry milling workflows for zirconia, PMMA, wax, and PEEK.
